1050 WIRING
A permit is required for the rewire (removal of the aluminum wiring) in your unit.
Homeowner is responsible that a permit is acquired before work is started. A permit in place ensures that the city will inspect to make sure that all work is in compliance with city codes.
Completed work without a permit in place requires the homeowner or contractor apply to the city for a permit.
Lastly, please make sure that the office has copies of all paperwork.
While this is something that a contractor should be checking it is the owners responsibility to ensure all work done is in compliance with all City Ordinances.
